Of course Mizzou should be in the SEC. In the long run the Mizzou-Arkie rivalry will grow.

The Aggies are a perfect fit too.

The court is out on the other 12 teams. We'll just have to see how the other 12 can handle real football.

I like both of the additions. There will be some growing pains, but in the long run - both aTm and Mizzou are going to be a good fit. Welcome aboard Mizzou and aTm - now don't frick it up!!!

Dude, please. If you think the Mizzou fanbase is judged by two threads on Tigerboard you should stop reading that crap. We are in, we are stayin in and we ready.

If you are getting your opinion from the shite that is posted on Tigerboard you need to walk away and never visit that site again. The whole concept that Mizzou wanted the Big 10 is stupid. The reality of Mizzou's situation is the fans wanted out of the Big 12. The school administration was pro-Big 12 until August of last year. The Missouri State Governor, (Who by the way is a complete arse-Hat) Wanted Missouri to join the Big 10. A few fans said yeah that sounds like a great idea because the Big 10 is actually 11 teams and they need a 12th team so that they can even out their conference. The whole conversation from our idiot governor died when Nebraska was chosen to join the Big 10. Rumors went around saying that Mizzou would have been chosen if they had agreed to the graduated payout that Nebraska accepted. Don't know if this is true or not. When Texas A&M decided to apply for membership in the SEC that really got a majority of the Mizzou fans excited because now the SEC needed another team. The fans started a grassroots campaign to convince the University to leave the Big 12. This movement did not gain any momentum until the Mizzou Administration found out that Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State had asked the Pac 12 if they could join. When that news surfaced the Mizzou Administration started listening to the Fans and the rest is now history.

If I remember correctly, you were one of the first SEC posters on Tigerboard, promoting Mizzou before any decisions were made. If I also remember correctly, you had some back and forth with some of the idiots over there recently. You know full well 99% of the posters are more than excited about the move to the SEC. I hope to see more of your better posts, whether I agree with them or not, down the road and ignore the idiots. They're everywhere.

Thank you, couldn't have said it better myself. If I remember correctly, RhodeIslandRed is the reason I found TD in the first place. Everyone I know is happy as can be to be in the SEC. Every fanbase has idiots, and they should be universally ignored.

Oh FFS, really, they are here. Trial by fire will determine whether they should be here or not. The nega-tards on both boards need to just wait and see.

Very excited to be in the SEC, if I heard any grumblings of jumping to the B1G I would definitely be emailing the curators saying PLEASE NO!!

Mizzou will be in the Big Ten whenever they get an invite. That's the main reason I did not want them. aTm was a great addition though that is excited as hell to join.

This is not going to happen, who do you think Mizzou is TCU??? I have never been happier as a Tiger fan then the day the SEC move was announced. Sure there is a part of the Missouri fan base that like the B1G or Big 12, that is a part of Missouri. If you did not know Missouri is a state that is split many ways, St. Louis is eastern, KC western, north of the I-80 corridor is Midwestern, South of I-80 corridor is more Southern. Missouri can never agree on anything, not even how much we hate KU (nothing lower then a mohawk fan). I myself though have never seen the excitement level for Tiger football as high as it is now and that my friends is all about the SEC.

I, for one, am glad that the SEC has two new schools. We, the SEC, needed new blood. AND THERE WILL BE BLOOD! Bring on FOOTBALL!!!!!

Even if down the road the B1G does invite Mizzou I think the SEC $ Mizzou will suddenly have will deter them from accepting an invite anywhere else.

Why do we continually have to prove ourselves? We had a massive email campaign of Tens of thousands of emails sent to Administrators demanding the move. A couple dumbfricks said something in a thread on TigerBoard and everybody bashed them. Just let it go man.

Instead of debating this on Tigerboard perhaps you guys could discuss something more relevant like changing the board format perhaps. Someone should start a thread letting the site owner know that the rest of the SE.C thinks that he needs to leave 1995 behind and update that mess before July when you officially join. Now that would be a much better topic of discussion.
