Does Mizzou Really Belong in the SEC?

There was never a question in my mind that Texas A&M should be playing in the Southeastern Conference. And I have been screaming and hollering for years that Mizzou should by in the SEC - long before many of the Mizzou faithful had even considered such a possibility. I still believe that the SEC is the conference in which Mizzou belongs, but from reading their board have come to the conclusion that some of them have "buyer's remorse."
I really don't understand it. My feeling is that they have been welcomed into the SEC with open arms, but from reading their board I also think that some of them are not too sure of the decision that was made.

SEC was the second choice for Mizzou. That alone is good enough reason not to add them to SEC.

Mizzou is the 6 at the bar that the SEC decided to take home at 1:45 AM.
No shame in it.

Mizzou will be in the Big Ten whenever they get an invite. That's the main reason I did not want them. aTm was a great addition though that is excited as hell to join.

I think this is their most natural fit. Nothing personally against Missouri, just think they belong in that region. I think it was huge mistake by B1G not to extend the invitation. That being said, they are now a part of the SEC, a very lucrative deal. They may not opt out, even if given opportunity.

You're basing this on one tigerboard thread about how Bear Bryant didn't integrate until it became a severe competitive disadvantage not to. You're a better poster than this, come on.

Um, no. Geographically, culturally, and program wise - they're a bad fit. Nothing against Missou - I think their traditional rivalry with Kansas is one of the best in the country and I'm sure it's a cool place to go to school, but IMO they're a bad fit for the SEC.

Easy wins always belong on LSU's schedule.

The swamp kittens are 1-7-1 all time at Kyle Field. Sounds easy enough.
