Tom Osborne or Bear Bryant.
Osborne took NU to something like 40 bowls in a row and won 3 NCs. That's a dynasty. E

a dynasty, as relates to football, is not the same as the definition of dynasty...as most cfb programs have found out.
i don't know if there are any college teams that have been able to hand down titles and championships without interruption..
there have been short dynasties, miami, fsu and there have been some programs that have sustained success on and off for a lot of years...

well i dont think anyone has ever one a NC 4 of 5 years but prolly SEC...which is exactly why i dont think we have ever seen a dynasty in college football
I dont even consider bears 20 years anywhere near dynasty type years...yeah we were good but it wasnt every year

IMO...prolly the most mind boggling was FSU from '87-'00... 14 straight top 5 AP finishes. They did fall a lil' short in MNC's...played 5 times for the MNC between '93-'01, only won in '93 & '99...

Something like Nebraska did in the mid 90's. 3 national titles in a 4 year span.

I know I'm gonna get hate for this, but Bama has a very good chance at winning it all the next two years to make it 4 NCs in 5 years. 2012 - Literally only have to beat LSU. The thing is this team is much more talented at this stage than the 2010 team, and they have a lot more experience. Plus, this could be our best Offense under Saban, but 2013's offense is going to be ever better. There is no reason to think that Bama could lose a surprise game, because that sort of thing only happened to them when they returned ONE defensive starter. If BP stayed at Arky they may've had a chance, but Michigan can't do it, only LSU can.
2013 will be very good. The offensive line will have Cyrus back, and we should have Steen back. I imagine if Taylor is gonna play OG he will play it a lot in mop up duty and start in 2013. McCarron will more than likely stay, making him a Senior, he'll have pretty much the exact same WR corps back, and Dee Hart and Yeldon, who are great catching guys out of the back field, will see more touches. The defensive line will return no starters, but guys will have a lot of PT.
Nico is a Senior and Mosley is already projected as a first rounder, and for good reason. He'll likely leave. Depriest is gonna have a lot of PT in games, not in blow outs, but in certain packages. Ragland will see the field a bit too, and him and DeBeast will make a deadly combo at ILB. Hubbard will be back and better. Sunseri, Collins, and HaHa will all be back. Milliner probably won't be, but Belue and Dixon both will be back.
Anyway, everyone is just gonna say "herp derp homer", but I'm just throwing out a thought. I don't wanna argue with anyone, so if you've gotta dispute something, try to be nice about it.
