To omaha way more recently than OM.
This could potentially be the most heart breaking thing about being a Rebel. To thrice win the first game in the Super Regional and lose out. It's enough to make you consider changing schools

Technically you're tied for 3rd, and considering what a ruse the College World Series was back in 54, it's not unfair to say that Georgia's title in 90 is a MUCH bigger achievement. The fact that you haven't been to Omaha since Kennedy was in office sort of hurts your case too.

Frick being a fan of any other SEC school. Except Auburn, and Vandy. They're cool.

Anyone get this up on Instagram yet? It would really make MSU being on the list seem more legit.

If I ranked the teams in the SEC it would look something like this(all time):
Tier 1: LSU
Tier 2: South Carolina
Tier 3: Florida, Miss State, Arkansas, Georgia
Tier 4: aTm, Mizzou(gets bumped down because they haven't been relevant in decades), Alabama
Tier 5: Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi
Tier 6: Kentucky, Vanderbilt
Tier 1: LSU
Tier 2: South Carolina
Tier 3: Florida, Miss State, Arkansas, Georgia
Tier 4: aTm, Mizzou(gets bumped down because they haven't been relevant in decades), Alabama
Tier 5: Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi
Tier 6: Kentucky, Vanderbilt

What makes Miss St. legit is they with Ron Polk put SEC baseball on the map.

Truth. Even though they didn't win any championships, they are a big reason the SEC is as good as it is today.

You have a meager 4 CWS appearances, which is basically what I went by, with titles receiving special preference--except for in the case of Mizzou. Mississippi has a great program, and great fan support, but overall--a weak history.

I'd at least put Ole Miss in Tier 4.

I have :
LSU = 6 in 15 tries
South Carolina = 2 in 10 tries (5 appearances as SEC member including 2 CWS)
Georgia = 1 in 6 tries
Missouri = 1 in 6 tries (0 as SEC member, and the 1960's were long ago)
Mississippi State = 0 in 8 tries
Florida = 0 in 7 tries
Arkansas = 0 in 6 tries (2 as SEC member)
Alabama = 0 in 5 tries
Texas A&M = 0 in 5 tries (0 as SEC member)
Auburn = 0 in 4 tries
Tennessee = 0 in 4 tries
Ole Miss = 0 in 4 tries
Vanderbilt = 0 in 1 try
Kentucky = 0 for 0 (they are due)
I see 1 elite team, 1 closing the gap, and a handful of teams that can make a run. I reserve judgement on Texas A&M and Missouri till after I have seen them play a full SEC baseball schedule.
