He's been in the hospital for at least 12 hours now. If it was just a few cuts and scrapes it seems like news would have already came out about his condition. But then again, it did happen on a Sunday evening so that might explain why an official statement hasn't been made yet.

Arkansas wide receiver Kane Whitehurst, a freshman who redshirted last year, was arrested early Sunday morning for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Coach Bobby Petrino says through a spokesman that he is aware of the situation and that it will be handled appropriately.

Probably a few broken bones. He might have to coach Paterno style from the press box but at least he is alive and can call plays. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
