Who will be the "most improved" team in 2012 when it's all said and done?

I'll go with...

Tennessee - Why? Well, first let's look at the offense. Tyler Bray + Justin Hunter + Da'Rick Rogers + Cordarelle Patterson = "Torch City". Not only will they light up your defense through the air, but you will have to key on them just enough to allow them to hurt you in the running game. Second, let's look at schedule. They have a chance to start 4-0 (NC State, Georgia State, Akron, and Florida). Tennessee is as good as, if not better, than all of those. They also have Troy, Vandy, and Kentucky to play. Again, they could easily win those games. Tough ones will be @ Georgia, @ State, @ USCe, and vs Bama. At least they have Bama at home. Having said all that, I could see them getting to 8/9 wins in the unpredictable SEC East. Of course, we have to count on them staying healthy for the most part. They don't have the type of depth they have had in the past.

Let's hear your most improved team...

LSU - they will be able to get past the 50 more than once in their bowl game this year.

They were my #2 team. They could simply win 4 and double their win total.

Hard to believe they only won 2 football games...

Arkansas having to live vicariously through Alabama because they got their asses raped by LSU is pretty humorous.

Not as bad as living through Ohio State.

edit: btw, I was complimenting LSU. Don't be so butthurt. I'm sure Les will have a much better gameplan next time.

I don't have to live vicariously through any team.

41-17 with JORDAN JEFFERSON running the offense

If it wasn't for the fact that the SEC West will be brutal next year, I would have said Texas A&M easily. They're returning 16 starters and they were a much better team than their record indicated last year holding halftime leads in every game but one.

Arkansas

Not only will the Hogs go 14-0, a new mercy rule will be created due to the embarrassment caused by the Hogs' 40+ avg. margin of victory.

Honestly this. If we win 4 games it is a 100% improvement.

According to Rivals depth chart, they are losing 8 starts from last year's team...

Did everyone know that jordan Jefferson has a winning record as LSU's starting QB vs every single team in the SEC? The ones he played against at least.

2-2 vs Bama
2-0 vs UGA
2-1 vs UF
2-0 vs Vandy
2-0 vs MSU(Lee started in 08 and 11)
2-1 vs Ole Miss
2-1 vs Arkansas
2-1 vs Auburn
2-0 vs UT
1-0 vs A&M

He never played against UK(Lee started in 11) or SC and of course Mizzou.

Is 2-2 a winning record now?

If only LSU had some points left for the NC game...
