Gotcha you got a kid that can play tackle, but not center, so Jones bounces inside to replace Vlachos

Fowler was never an ideal rb, he's a fullback at best.
This is dumb. The guy has looked great every time he has touched the ball, thus making him more than just a "fullback at best".

Cyrus Kouandjio. For as good as BJ was at LT, Cyrus was still pushing him for the job until he got injured. Moving BJ to Center does 3 things for Bama:
1) Keeps Cyrus Kouandjio off the bench
2) Puts the best 5 lineman on the field
3) Showcases BJ at his natural position for the NFL
You gotta love having talent all over the place. The ability to move folks around like chess pieces is a great feeling.

are ye sure? i know he was projected at center and might have played there at an allstar event but i think he was a tackle in HS
You're correct. I think he was ranked as a center though.

What's the deal with Carter? Is it still his grades or is there more?

Close enough. Both of his parents grew up in Alabama. His father played basketball at Alabama.

His dad played for Wimp. I think his mom may have cheered for UA.
Oh, and his folks neighbor is Jimmy "Takin' yo money" Sexton.

From a BOL poster. TIFWIW
quote:
Carter is cleared from an institution and compliance standpoint but still has some football related issues to overcome. In other words, he has some issues that Nick Saban demands completion.

Someone on TideSports said this, also TIFWIW:

he's been skipping class and either showing up late, or not at all, for off season workouts. Supposedly, several members of the team felt like he was getting special treatment and went to CNS about it. The more I hear about this kid, the more I think he'll never play a down at Bama. It's a shame too, because his talent is undeniable. Hopefully, he'll get himself together.
