one dude, crispy already nailed this, if they couldn't get open with alshon commanding double teams i am sure they can be contained by teams focusing on the run.

SC by 10 is a terrible prediction because you know that game will be close

Everybody wants us.

But really though. I am excited to play teams like South Carolina. Loved Myrtle Beach.

my bold prediction is that South Carolina is held to under 100 rushing

latty may have over 100 but through sacks and other losses USC ends up with like 90

If we go by Lattimore's average vs UGA (somewhere around 175ish) that is going to take a shite ton of sacks.

i don't think he does it this year. i think georgia did well against him until they wore down in the 4th. a flurry of turnovers and consistent 3 and outs will do that 2 weeks in a row. i don't think it's really that hard to imagine. not a lock of course but with lattimore coming of knee surgery who knows how much he will be able to handle by october. hey may have hit a groove or he may be still dinged up but i do know that playing later benefits the jawjans

This will not be taken as a compliment by most SC natives just FWIW. I believe they don't really claim Myrtle Beach.

Wal Mart by the sea.

I only briefly skimmed the thread, are we really doing the whole SC/UGA thing again?

I'm off today so I've got nothing better to do, if that's what happening.

Dude throughout my time on the Rant I've seen the SC/UGA thing, SC/UT thing, SC/Arky thing, SC/LSU thing, SC/AU thing, SC/Bama thing, SC/UF thing, SC/MSU thing, and SC/UK thing.

We'll pick fights with anyone.

No we do. Only because tourism there brings in $ to our poor poor state. But there better beaches for sure. (Hilton Head is one such beach that is also fairly popular)

Oh it varies, usually only happens right after they've played each other, or soon before (as you might expect) More so in baseball than in football.

Hilton Head itself is cool but I'm not a huge fan of the beach. Cops just waiting for people to step over some made up line so they can hand out a $1000 fine. At least the times I've been.

That and I just prefer the Gulf to the Atlantic, although I live on the Atlantic now.

What?? What part of the beach where you at? Used to go there every summer (before the economy tanked) Stayed at Forest Beach near Coligny. Outside of Lifeguards and a security guy at the entrance gate of the condos I don't really recall seeing much of any type of law enforcement.. anywhere.

You know, unless you see the occasional military helicopter flying across the beach (which I've always assumed was going to or from Paris Island)

Edisto and Beaufort (not Fripp) are my jam when it comes to SC beaches.

Still, it's hard to top frat beach at SSI.

I'm not sure what part since I'm not that familiar with HHI. It had several bars backing up to the beach, though, and there was some distinct line you couldn't take alcohol across.

I went there for my fraternity formal one year. UK Farmhouse was there and in our same hotel, and one of them got bit on the foot by a shark. True story. Great time, though.

I think USCe really benefited from the fact that they played Georgia so early on. But with the schedule changes, facing Georgia in October is a disadvantage to carolina. UGA always has more depth than USCe.
