A lot more to the Bryant story than what you guys are saying. I won't post it here or anywhere else on a message board out of respect for his family. It doesn't only involve Greg though, but Roderick as well.
I hope him picking us don't hinge on us taking Roderick too. I don't think we would unless he can play Guard.

So if Carl and Reuben are dominating in practice they don't deserve to start because they are freshman? I guess holland starts over foster next year

OK, if we're playing the imagination game, I'm already penciling them in as All-American's and Lombardi Award candidates as true freshmen.

'm not sure Mike Blakely will be at AU if he doesn't get the carries he wants this year.

That would be a 2nd transfer? And sitting out another year?

What is the deal with Blakely? He was our target when he went to UF and now he seems to be in the doghouse all the time.

It's hard to be dedicated to something 12 hours a day, almost year round.

We used to have a back like that, but then he took a BCSCG MVP to the head.

Speaking of him, I get the feeling he knows he fricked up a good thing in Auburn...

He's been Tweeting all kinds of PRO-Auburn tweets, and has also been tweeting Auburn players not stop.

Absolutely, I'm glad we had Dyer while we did. The non knee touch was all worth it.

If that is him, he's surprisingly literate for a football player.

Literacy has never been a problem for Dyer. Even in his recruitment interviews the kid sounded very intelligent. He just likes weed and guns.

Right now we have a group of linebackers who -- their numbers in the mental error category aren't good," VanGorder said. "When you have that, you have to at least make a decision based on who's going to be productive. So if a freshman has enough confidence and enough poise to play in a situation like the first game, then he's got every chance to start and or play a lot of reps

Sounds like cass will get a shot early.

I tweeted him a couple times last night and surprisingly he tweeted me back.. My overall impression from his tweets was that he knows he fricked up and knows his football future is pretty uncertain.. I almost wanted to tell him to call Gus and beg for forgiveness and do what ever it takes to get back on the team.. and while he is at it, call Chiz and apologize for not being willing to do what was necessary to get back on the team at Auburn.

If I were an au fan I would want bates, holland and frost. Bates graduates foster takes his spot and learns the mlb spot from holland. Then cass ect. can compete for the open spot. Though just because Frost has the measurables the fact that he viewed himself as a wr would be a slight concern for his transition to lb. Just my opinion.

I would love for Frost, Foster, and McKinzy to be the starting lineup next year. I just have to question why on Earth the coaching staff didn't want to even try to bring in Khari Fortt from PSU. Hindsight is 50/50, but I thought it was pretty obvious our linebacking corp wasn't that great. He could've helped in some way.

I agree, not sure why they didn't go after him. Really starting to worry about Holland, coaches were looking to replace him with J. White last spring before he was placed on Medical Hardship.

I think our poor DT play last year made Holland look worse than he played, especially after Holland got injured a bit.

I guess we'll find out
