Serious question for LSU fans

I have never noticed before, but I see these two huge "Cox" stamps on your court.
The outfield wall of Box is littered with stamps as well.
So my question is, does it bother you? Does your athletic dept need money that bad?

Most basketball arenas have signage on the court. It doesn't bother me at all.

I will say that The Box would look better without all the ads on the wall. Southern Miss has ads. LSU is above it.

It doesn't bother me as bad as it bothers Arkansas fans that they don't have an SEC championship in football.

LSU athletics takes no subsidies or taxes from the state of Louisiana. So, yes. Instead of taxing the population for this, they take out ads.

No The AD has enough money at this point to give a shiton to the school itself. And they have. Just in recent years we've seen a new basketball practice facility, a new upper deck for TS, new windows, new baseball stadium, new softball stadium, etc. Currently, they're adding more suites to the Box and will soon start a $9 million makeover for TS
So yeah, I think we're pretty set

They built our Academic Center for Student-Athletes and contribute in other ways. LINK
It has a really sweet computer lab.

It would bother me if we had walmart or Tyson on the court but with Jeff long I could see it happening, although I like him as ad overall.

No and no. LSU was one of 9 schools in 2010 to exceed $100 million in revenue (1 of 4 of which received no allocated state funding). In fact, the AD is run by no taxes or mandatory student fees.
FWIW, LSU generated $35 million more than Arkansas and turned a profit of 2.5 times that of the Hawgs when adjusted for the receipt of state funds.
