Do you expect to see Eddie Lacy go to some post season award presentations?

As a finalist? I know he isn't as good as Richardson, but he seems around Ingram's level, and he'll have a batter offensive line, and McCarron is going to make teams respect the pass too. If Bama has only one loss, and he's got at least 1500 yards and 15 TDs, I think he'll just barely make NYC and maybe, MAYBE, be a finalist for the Doak Walker. He has a lot of other RBs that could easily be there. Lattimore, Ball (though I think he's just a one hit wonder), Knile David to name a few. I like his YPC, but will it be that high when he's a starter in the SEC?

I don't think so. He's just not on the Ingram/Richardson level IMO.

Also, don't forget, Dee Hart was second string ahead of him before the injury. Hart/Yeldon/Fowler will be getting some carries next season too.

Actually, yes...

Not because I think he's one of the best running backs in the country, but because he'll be on a good team. He might even make it to the Heisman ceremony if Alabama has a great season. They love guys that are on winning teams, whether those guys are more deserving than others or not.

He's not going to put up anywhere near the numbers that Richardson and Ingram did in the last two years. There's too many good backs behind him and the QB play should be much better than it was during those years so Bama will be running less and throwing more. I'll be surprised if Lacy averages over 100 rushing yards per game.

Nope. He's not even a Coffee, much less a Richardson or Ingram.

I think he'll be a 1,000 yard rusher, but Alabama will use more of a "RB committee" in 2012. He won't have the overall numbers to win anything other than being placed on some All-SEC lists.

Easy question. No.

Probably will do well in SEC top RB's though due to the line he plays behind. I have to believe that spinning move he has is going to generate a few TO's and he could get in the doghouse.

Are all gumps, this delusional? Eddie Lacy couldn't stay healthy as a damn backup, but yeah he is better than the HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER!

I really don't see why it's so out of the question for anybody that has watched him play the last two years. What more can a guy do behind a heisman trophy winner and Trent Richardson too? Check out his numbers, especially his YPC and you might get a look at just how good of a RB Eddie is. He's a baller and he's gonna rip through the SEC next year just like he did this year when he got the carries.

With that O-line 2000+ yards if he has the legs. Heisman for sure.

I don't think so. He's not going to stand out among our other backs, IMO.

Nope. I think we'll have a three to four deep rotation. I also think T.J. Yeldon will take more and more carries away from him as the season progresses.
