What happened to.. "Everyone is to scared to play us", Boise!

Complete crap if they turn us down.

ArRecruitingGuy: RT @NWAMatt: Boise State's AD tells the Idaho Statesman the Broncos aren't likely to play Arkansas at Cowboys Stadium in 2012.

Can you blame them? I think they return like 3 starters.

They have to prepare for that tough Big East schedule now.

If Arkansas was really the flagship, they'd schedule a home and home and go wreck their world in Boise.

I literally don't even know who is left in the BigEast with WVU heading off to tornado alley.

Probably think they've "made it". If they think playing a Big East schedule will shut people up, they're dead wrong. The MWC with TCU was a better conference than the Big East as of now.

This is not a good year for Arkansas to be looking for an opponent. Arky will be ranked in the top 10 and no one wants to schedule that. In the past, most teams would have at least a 50/50 shot against us and would gladly schedule us, now they know they will be stepping into a buzzsaw if they come play us in Dallas.

Meh, I'd MUCH rather play TCU for home and home the pro's are endless for Arkansas there compared to Idaho and Blue turf.

boise is a whinning bitch that turns down teams if they think they are good enough to whip them. they played uga because uga was down. i hope they continue to get voted down at every opportunity for everything in every year.

From their Scout board:

We don't need to prove anything next year, and our OOC is already strong

But what about IN conference?

I'd prefer to play (in this order) Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Houston, Rice

Is Arkansas trying to set this up or is this some some general remark about the improbability of a matchup between the two teams? Your quoted remark leaves out a lot of detail.

Arkansas is looking for an OOC opponent. Since A&M wants to go Home & Home, its been speculated that we could lure a decent OOC opponent to play us in JerryWorld. Boise is one of those teams we shared an open date with and have been on the rumor mill.

Texas owes us a home game but it was our decision to delay in order to start the ATM series.

Correct.

A lot of people forget we have an initial 10 year contract (3 years executed) with TAMU in Dallas with 2, 10 year options.
