No, I just think that since this isn't a violent crime against another person that things such as money and community service would benefit the Auburn community more than having an old man in jail.
I would feel the same way if it was an Auburn fan who committed vandalism or destruction of property against something related to UA.
You can ban him from UA sporting events too of that makes you feel better about all of this. I just think that spending money and resources trying to enforce penalties like that would be a waste.
But anyone who thinks he should got to jail for 13 years old is either grandstanding or has no idea of how the legal system actually works today.

That's a logical fallacy; just because a person might have his picture taken with someone he admires doesn't mean he admires everyone he has his picture taken with.
In some cases people just want to say that they had their picture taken with a famous (or infamous) person. If I'd had the chance to have my picture taken with John Gotti, I would've done it. Doesn't mean I woshipped John Gotti or even condoned his actions or those of his Mafia family.

Anyone with any common sense should know that you can't make general statements about an entire group of people based on their fan base.
Tbh, if I would have never went to TTown I probably would hate Bama fans based on some of the shite I have read on this board. Maybe some of these people should stop being dick heads and leave LA and Bama, respectively, and they would see that all fans are not like they appear on this board. The majority of Bama fans I have met are awesome. Now I have met some young loud mouth bitches in TTown that I wanted to slap the frick out of, but we have those as well. The fans on here are COMPLETELY different than the ones I've met IRL, save the ones I've passed in the Target or Home Depot parking lot or the people you see in tourist spots.
IRL, it's like a completely different world. I can't decide if none of those people post online, or if they have hidden personalities of hate behind the computer and are nice IRL.
