Saban has proven more thus far but I feel like Harbaugh is the best coach in football right now. Combination of motivating players and quality coaching, he is the man. Will have a great coaching career. Please come to Dallas.

Not even close. Harbaugh has won at every level, even at Stanford which is a very difficult place to win. Saban failed miserably in the NFL, and has won at Bama which has all the advantages and where any competent coach should be able to win big.

If Saban played just Tennessee, he'd be the easy winner (7-1)!

Remember that time when harbaugh won 4 NCs and 3 in 4 years? That was so awesome.

Harbaugh. Had success at Stanford and in the NFL. Succeeding at LSU and Bama ain't as impressive as succeeding at Stanford.

It's got to be Harbaugh. He turned Stanford into a national power and is tearing up the NFL.

Not a slight to Saban, but he's accomplishing what he is at a historical power and failed in the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh wins in both college and NFL, Saban only college. Saban is a great coach, but Harbaugh given time will be his daddy.

Saban was a colossal failure at the NFL, whereas Harbaugh is making an instant impact

In college? Saban

In the pros? Harbaugh

I think that's all we can really say at this point. Saban hasn't had a good NFL team to work with and Harbaugh never had a team he could build a dynasty with like Saban.

Harbaugh obviously knew what he was doing when he took the 49ers job. They were awful before he took over and his impact has been unreal.

Harbaugh and it is not close. It would be like saying Christian Laetner is better than Michael Jordan since Laetner was such a great college player.

Harbaugh.

Saban is the best coach in college right now, but Harbaugh is the best football coach.
