Bama will have a great recruiting class this year, but

It will not even touch 3 or 4 USC classes in the past decade.
2004: 8 5*'s
2006: 5 5*'s
2007: 6 5*'s
Are all easily better by a bunch than this Bama class.
Hell, their 2010 class had 5 5*s and over a 4.0 average star rating.
Fact is this Bama class will be very good, but USC did that without taking 28 recruits like Bama is doing.

I am not the guy living off of recruiting class rankings like Bama fans do.
I am not the one going around claiming this class could be the greatest of all time like Bama fans.
It's just funny how you guys really do overvalue your program historically.

I'm not saying Alabama's class is better at all, but I put way more stock in a powerhouse SEC teams recruiting class than teams out west. Players in the south are better.

Yeah, I took the 1 minute to look up on Rivals what they had in their classes the past decade. I spent so much time on it.

Fair argument, but then how is this class any better than UF's from just 2 years ago?
UF's in 2010:
4 - 5 stars
18 - 4 stars
4 - 3 stars
Bama's in 2012 (to date) and nearly maxed out:
3 - 5 stars
11 - 4 stars
12 - 3 stars
So how again is 22 4/5 stars less impressive than 16 4/5 stars (max)?
