AP should award LSU their National Title now

Even if Alabama wins (which I have my doubts about but just for the sake of argument), it's still only 1-1 on the season between LSU and the gumps. LSU has already had a better resume than Alabama can possibly have as we've beaten 3 teams in BCS games. The BCS title game should be just for the BCS title, give LSU a share of the title now.

If they do, I don't want to hear a damn thing from LSU fans anymore about NC's awarded before the bowls and losing the bowl game. 13 would stand and LSU fans would be hypocrites to argue it.

I've never heard any LSU fan argue that any of Bama's poll titles aren't legit.

oh and I'm fine with LSU getting an AP title
the lasting taste in everyone's mouth will be the BCSNC - so regardless of the AP awarding it we will still feel vindicated
though I think the SEC title is more in recognition of your season
AP, and BCS title game appearences, are only awarded by outside forces
An SEC title is the only thing our teams truly EARN on the field - well, at least until we get a playoff
