I would be surprised if this game is not winner take all (i.e., BCS and AP). If OSU and Alabama win, I bet you will see a lot of number 1 votes for all three teams so it could be close, but most voters are going to give it to the winner of the 1 v 2 bowl game.

Quality losses count for more, or have more weight, than the number of wins....Duh!!! If Bama wins on the 9th, then the will have the best quality loss, and take home the AP...get ready!

Think back to the 2003 season. It would be very hypocritical for LSU fans to support this idea now when they were adamantly against sharing it with USC then.

If Oregon loses to Wisconsin, along with the fact the SEC is down, LSU will not have this vaunted resume. If they lose, they won't be awarded the AP.

1941 and the pre-1936 titles are the only ones I've ever heard anyone attack. Maybe Auburn fans give you shite about the others and Arky fans about 64, but I along with everyone I've ever talked to about it felt that all 8 of Bama's poll titles are legit as they come. The tournament is fun but I don't really like it specifically because the season is so meaningless.
I don't even like the NFL playoffs where a 9-7 team can win the whole thing.
