Arkansas > Texas A&M

Arkansas has pretty much proved that on the field. Now, it will be really important for Arky to beat Texas A&M the first several years they play in SEC competition to solidify that they are a rung above A&M in the conference pecking order. I think it will happen.
But, if A&M beats Arky next year, it is going to set Arky back a bit in the minds of people. I've heard it said that it is bad for LSU with A&M coming into the SEC because of East Texas and Louisiana recruiting, but I think it is worse for Arkansas. They are basically the equivalent at this point, with Arkansas getting the nod for more recent success.
I can see the LSU-Texas A&M-Arkansas triangle shaping up to be pretty competitive over the years, with LSU dominating, of course.
But, Arkansas pretty much needs to beat Texas A&M the next few years.

its going to take awhile for the aggies to get the defensive players they're going to need

It going to take more than than, they severely lacked the depth to play complete games in the big12, playing Tennessee, Ole Miss, Ms. State, Kentucky, and Vandy in consecutive weeks is the closest you could get to a big12 schedule and I do not think aTm is going to be able to cry or suck enough dicks to make that schedule happen...

We were a crap "leading with the helmet" call away from finishing off Arkansas after choking the 3rd quarter in true Sherman fashion without our two best defensive starters. I am not all that worried about Arkansas going fwd.
Please don't misinterpret this post as making excuses, just arguing that the game could have easily gone the other way. They won fair and square.

Guess you don't remember who all we were missing for that game? Tank Wright, Bequette, Davis, Robert Thomas, both starting CB's.
That excuse doesn't work.

Arkansas was missing their best defensive players, spotted you points, and it still didn't make a shite.
0-3 @ Uncle Jerry's.
Last year was going to be Aggie's year according to aggie fan, have fun in your shitty big12 bowl.

We had a HC/OC who could almost never score in the 3rd quarter as a result of failure to make proper adjustments and questionable playcalling. This was a troubling trend that carried over from his time as OC of the Houston Texans...who rarely scored in the 3rd quarter under him. He is gone now.

Sherwood, here's a tip. All Arky posters are trolls.
Just ignore them unless you're killing time with your iPhone on the shitter

"Yeah, we were thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close." Story of A&M's season, and ask Mike Sherman how that worked out. Close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.

You coach has won 3 games in his career without his all-world QB that was gifted to him by Baylor's head coach.

Keenum is an average QB who will barely sniff the NFL and is a product of the system Sumlin used (see multiple Texas Tech QB's in recent yrs) bc it's what it took to win with such crappy all around talent. And he didn't just lose Keenum. He lost his 1st and 2nd stringer in the same game in the beginning of the season and ended up using his 4th stringer for the majority of the season. Ask any team not named LSU or Bama to do that and see how well they do. Most teams would probably have a losing record and im sure both Bama and LSU would have multiple losses relying on their 4th string QB's.

we will beat A&M by 4 TD's next year, one for every milk man cheerleader.

I'm sure that is why Bryles' replacement isn't any good either, just average.
When relying on his own talent, 3 wins. Aggie going to miss Sherman.
