According to Rolltide.com, Bama had one of the most difficult schedules in the nation!
"TOUGH SLATE: Alabama boasts one of the most difficult schedules in the nation with four games against teams ranked in the USA TODAY Coaches’ Poll Top 25. The Tide faced then-No. 20 Penn State (27-11 win), then-No. 12 Arkansas (38-14 win), and then-No. 12 Florida (38-10 win). The Tide fell, 9-6, in overtime against No. 1 LSU (Nov. 5)."

Bama is #22 SOS in Sagarin.
Tex A&M is #3, by far the highest of the top 25 teams.

Using rank at the time of game isn't right, but nevertheless Bama beat 3 teams ranked in the final BCS poll. That's only 1 less than OSU who all the LSU fans slobber over.
