They let in “handicap” +3 and the other fan clubs 5-10 min before general admission. Those seem to gobble up and save she best seats.

Went to the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for the dangerous stampede to enter. Other than that, it was a great time and very entertaining.

It is a leading edge slat with damage. They won’t fly it again until fixed but they were not about to die.

Take the gas is they offer it. I think it was like $60 out of pocket but takes the edge off, especially if you are nervous.

Just FYI, I am no expert in auto reliability but my wife’s 15 Suburban had a complete transmission failure. I have a 22 1500 and have been asked by numerous people if I have had any transmission issues yet. The stories I have heard has been around 100k miles and earlier if towing a bunch. My wife now has a VW Atlas, pretty reliable but expensive to fix or even maintain. Couple family members with Honda Pilots and they seem to love them.

Just wait, I heard from a little birdie that insurance companies and the parish are going to a new roof program…….your roof is going to have to be “certified” by the parish inspectors by them inspecting every step during build/change. Then the roof will have to be inspected by the parish every 5 years for a certificate. If not, you are not covered by the insurance company. I am sure the inspections will be easy to get done and won’t cost much !

Went to jump off a trailer and my leg slid sideways and got lodged between two metal supports. Let’s just say your femur is not stronger than steel. Body weight snapped it as I went over the top. Amazingly didn’t hurt at first. Wasn’t till I got to the hospital that it became painful as the night went on. Still don’t like standing on trailers.

Southwest is the only airline that has more cash than debt and a A rating by the creditors. I am pretty sure they will survive. Full schedule tomorrow is what I am hearing

The program that schedules the crew to aircraft, skysolver, crashed when the winter storm started canceling flights at the major hubs. It is 90s technology that has been showing signs of weakness for a while now with how big and complex our route system has become. Mini meltdowns have happened a few times in the last 20 months. This storm was just the final nail.

The CEO is relatively new. The blame is on Gary Kelly who stepped down this year. It also doesn’t help that the pilots and flight attendants have been under contract negotiations for 3 years. It was not a sick out but it is killing the culture that has always been there of the employees going above and beyond. Like picking up extra flying on your days off when the company needs help.
