talent and experience are both useful, but experience without talent leads to Chris Capps like performance.
Another example is Trotter/Moseley QB situation. Even with experience they would never go to NYC ala Cam

Al Borges used to say it all the time when he was the OC at Auburn. It's a coaches cop out.....meaning if they don't have good players , they can't win. To cop out even more, he didn't like to recruit.

It's pretty accurate. I wouldn't base it solely on recruiting rankings - but most of the best teams (except Boise) have the best players. Of course NFL coaches have to know X's and O's
