Was the ultra conservative play calling we saw from Bama on Nov 5th really all that different from their normal offense, or was this just who Bama really is? Basically, try and get TR the ball and hope he makes something happen individually.

I haven't watched every Bama game this, year, but the few I have watched looked a lot like same thing. The big difference is that the opposing defenses couldn't bring him down at the line.

Saban coached out of fear.

Desparation FG attempts beyond 45 yds (4) plus the WR pass to the TE.

LSU will beat that arse handily this time.

Bama's trying to convince themselves that they will be victorious the second time around. If you couldn't win in your house, you won't win away from it.

LSU will now have 3 in a row against the all mighty Bama hype team and 10 of 13 since 2000.

That is Bama's offense, IMO.

Saban's offense is a run/pass balanced offense. Go back and check the stats. We get as many yards from passing as we do rushing. Saban will throw in a few trick plays as needed. Bama has a goal to get a certain number of explosive plays.

But I got to say LSU was much more conservative than we were. Not to rag because I think it was the perfect offense for Nov 5. You may need to open it up a little more this time.

Saban's was scared to death on the 5th, he was playing tight, knowing his team was in the process of shitting the bed at home.

On the 9th his a-hole will be so tight you couldn't get a ten penny nail up it with a sledgehammer, AJ will choke in the dome and JJ will thrive.

35-10 LSU

How did you get the impression the play calling was "ultra-conservative?"

They ran a ton of one back and empty (with Trent split wide) sets in the first half. I'd hardly call that conservative.

I actually thought LSU was way more ultra-conservative than Bama in that game. I was surprised that LSU didn't try to attack Alabama's secondary more especially with the way they were having trouble moving the ball. As for Alabama, that's their normal offense. It's been their normal offense since Jim McElwain has been our offensive coordinator. I didn't have any problems with the conservative playcalling. Our receivers are really mediocre, LSU's secondary is really good, and McCarron can be inconsistent, inaccurate, and turnover prone at time. I had a much bigger problem with the playcalling when Alabama was in LSU's territory. Running a stretch play against a defense as fast as LSU on second and long and having Marquis Maze throw the ball to Michael Williams after a big run by Trent Richardson was just plain idiotic. Playcalling like that is why I won't miss McElwain one bit.

Honestly, we do what we do. Miles knows it too. That's why Les has out coached us almost every year. Saban wants to win his way...Les will do whatever it takes to win. If we don't add new wrinkles, we'll lose by double digits. If we execute well it'll be a long night for LSU.

I find it funny that some Bama fans on YouTube and on here say,"LSU couldn't even score 1 td against our def". As if they did
