Why are LSU fans so insecure about Jan 9th???

I mean there are CONSTANT threads by LSU fans lamenting the Finebaum show and asking Alabama fans question after question after question? Why??? Why are you guys so desperate for our praise and reassurance?
My theory is not that you guys are scared but you're nervous as s### about the idea that you might slip up right at the finish line and not close the deal. All this talk about how Alabama is clearly the inferior team and the need for LSU fans to have Alabama fans acknowledge that is a self defense mechanism. I think LSU fans realize how absolutely devastating and miserable it will be to squander the "greatest season ever" to an undeserving Alabama team and they're on the verge of a nervous breakdown over it.

Ok I actually read it. Truth is, we are (or I am) apprehensive because, not only is Alabama our equal, but beating them twice is a very tall order.
I think most would say that saban will not lose 3 in a row, he will do everything possible to keep that from happening. If he loses again, you can't tell me people in Tuscaloosa will get uncomfortable.
It's a very tall order and stif challenge. Both are deserving and it will be one hell of a game. One will lose, and it's a shame we both had these teams in the same season.

Cant argue that it would be disappointing to lose to a team that we have already beaten. The whole do over/ mulligan game is anti climatic after the game of the century. Do feel like we will win but not positive. Not completely sure our team will have the same want this time. I hope we are not satisfied with all the individual awards that we have already received. I know bama will be sky high at there second chance.

A lot of Alabama fans will simply have a lot of crow to eat if we lose. LSU fans constantly whine and lament a lack of respect for LSU by Finebaum and his callers because we don't agree with you that you'll beat us by no less than 21 on Jan 9th.
I just don't understand why LSU fans get so angry over the fact that many Alabama fans actually think we have a great shot of winning that's all. I found the epic meltdown over an "undeserving Alabama team" getting into the BCS title game over the LSU fanbase's new best friends Oklahoma State entertaining. I just find the LSU fanbase's need for validation from Alabama fans kinda sad though.
