Just noticing Sunday that the SEC produced alot of really good NFL guys that were just kinda average college players.
Arian Foster and Mike Wallace are the first that come to mind. I'm sure they were good players but not a lot of hype. Who else y'all got?

I guess you could count Brandon Jacobs in that category.

Ben Tate. He has been crushing it this year backing up Foster. I think he has around 750 rushing yards so far, over 5ypc

Mark Anderson from Bama has been good for years. Charlie Peprah has done well in GB. Not even gonna try to spell his name correctly, but Devin Aromashadu is still in the league and I think Ben Obamanu might be also.

tim jennings and asher allen are both starting i think. Paul Oliver i think is SD's nickel guy. Justin Houston isn't doing terrible at KC either, he's a starting DE now
ETA: i also think kedric golston gets PT in washington. ellerbe used to play a lot for the ravens too.

Andrew Whitworth and Stephen Peterman were really good college players that have played in the NFL for a while now. Whitworth is considered a top notch OT. Peterman has come into his own at guard in Detroit. Yes, they started multiple years at LSU but I didn't think they were this good.

Jay Ratliff. He was solid on that 04 AU team, but nothing like he is in the NFL.

I'd say I'm surprised by Kyle Williams' career.

Jason Peters from Arkansas. Played TE here. Goes (undrafted) to the NFL and becomes one of the game's best tackles.

he was a beast in college though.

When he's traded, I think he can be the feature back on a NFL team.

Ryan Clark. He was pretty good at LSU but went undrafted and now has been starting for years for the stealers

No longer playing, but Terrell Davis has to be the biggest "SEC underachiever" to dominate the NFL.

Wesley Woodyard of Bronchos.
