Sometimes it's like people don't realize that their is football outside of the SEC.
(yes I know shocker).
The kid is every bit as talented as any QB in the Nation and if on the right team in the SEC would be doing the same thing.
As I'll bring up the example again, South Carolina. We'd be 11-1 or 12-0. That Arky-SC game would be a shootout.

Huh? Did you see how many possessions each team got 11.5?
Well, this is all in theory. The whole thread. But in not talking about just LSU vs bama. He would be more productive than JJ. And our defense gets the ball back quicker than Baylor. Him being better than JJ would be more productive than a JJ ran offense. Add higher productivity with getting the ball back quicker = more snaps.

. i doubt reggie bush would've put up the kinda numbers he did at USC if he went against SEC defenses
Come on man...
Reggie would have put up those numbers regardless of the conference....
If trent richardson, mark ingram, cam newton & tim tebow were in another conference, you would be saying the same thing about them!!!!!!!
Im willing to bet that you are one of those fans that said urban meyers style of offense would'nt work in the SEC!!!!!!!

This. But IMO, as contradicting as it may sound, I don't think ball would be a good fit in the SEC.

Well I was talking about Regular Season.
But ya you're right.
I do think Rg3 with Alshon and our offense would have put up more of a fight than UGA.

So now the truth comes out
Finebaum filled out Sabans coaches poll ballot too

Yeah I see that. I'm just numb to those kinda teams. I know he's good and I like watching him, I just don't get as impressed as some people do. I honestly believe if Trent played for a school in the Big12 or Pac12 and they gave him enough carries......he could avg almost 200 ypg. Maybe more. Big plays against those defenses are a dime a dozen.

Ya that's the only one I don't find the argument fitting for really. He's a product of the Wisconsin line. Sure he lost weight and got quicker. but how many of those TDs were withing 5 yards?
Ball is purely here because of his almost TD Record.

Reggie Bush would have put up good numbers no matter where he went. USC at its height under Carroll was playing at a level above any SEC team. In 2006, the Trojans defeated Arkansas 50-14. The Razorbacks went on to finish the season 10-2 and also won the SEC West. The previous year they had beaten Arkansas 70-17.

Ya those teams were professional football teams (probably even paid like professional teams too)

And they wonder why people just assume they will engage themselves with an utter lack of integrity in all matters. It's just in the water in that state, they really do base their entire sense of self around this stuff. Completely pitiful and Completely predictable.
