I could. If Bama wins by a small margin I would definitely be okay with sharing the title. Both teams would have identical records...makes sense!

would you say the same if a one loss team in the ncaa tournament won the championship against a team they lost to in the regular season, thus finishing with identical records?

no, because they won the championship GAME.

it's a one game season now.

It does make sense and I wish it would happen. But I think if you guys win, it's all yours.

So now we went from rating the quality of a loss to the point differential of 2 separate games to determine who is better.

How bout if bama wins we are tied 1-1

Cause that is the fact of the matter

Winner take all, that is how it works.

If you lose, you should've played better.

You're comparing a 64 team tournament to the BCS?

I'm tired of hearing this or similar analogies...those sports have "playoffs" and Alabama would have had to beat someone to earn the chance. They had to play Moo State, Georgia Southern, and Auburn to get a rematch...that is in NO way like any kind of playoff in anything...why can't the Gumps understand this?

A win in the BCS National Championship Game=best season. This is why they have the game. That is like saying Green Bay did not deserve to be Super
Bowl champs last year because they got in as a wild card.
