That Alabama is better than LSU....did he see the game? LSU won!
One other point...this man totally disgraced Alabama and was forced to resign under pressure and resulted in Alabama getting put on four years probation over the Langham problem.
Only at Alabama could this man be considered in the same breath as Bryant....just because he won a NC...

I'm sure he did.
He knows (as wellas the rest of the country) that Bama moved the ball MUCH easier on the LSU defense and that the missed opportunities by Alabama is what cost Alabama the game.
So in conclusion, Alabama beat Alabama.
Looking forward to the rematch in BR against LSU!!

Alabama did hurt Alabama, but LSU beat us too. They made the plays at the right times to win.

I'm not saying I necessarily agree, but is it really that outrageous to think that a team that lost to another team is NECESSARILY a worse team? Do you really think Oklahoma State is a worse team than Iowa State? Or that Oklahoma is a worse team than Texas Tech?

So if I have the opinion that Oklahoma is better than Texas Tech even though TT beat them at home, that is a stupid opinion?

using those examples are fricking silly considering the gap bt those teams. The gap bt LSU and bama is much less and one team made the critical plays while the other didn't. It was a combination of bad coaching decisions by saban and key plays by LSU that led to the win. Its pretty simple LSU made plays when it had to make them and sabans lack of playing field position and sending a gimp back to return a punt hurt bama. LSU can't control if saban wants to make stupid calls, we did what we were suppose to do and took advantage of mistakes to get the win.
Also its not like LSU played mistake free football. We threw 2 stupid picks, randle dropped a td that would have been huge, we played pretty close to the vest because bama allowed it. If bama had scored more id bet you would see us going vertical more and calling a slightly different game. We played smart and didn't try to do too much when we realized bama couldn't score.

How about another example? LSU 2006. I have heard COUNTLESS times from LSU fans that that was the best LSU team of the last decade and they were the best team in the country that year. They lost to Florida because of several silly mistakes. But that doesn't prevent LSU fans from thinking they were the best team in the country, now does it?
