Moonie was a nice man. Owned a fishing tackle store on Airline highway. I also Graduated from Istrouma. Saw him hit some monster home runs. One of the greatest OLB in NFL history.

Collis Temple majored in "Victimhood" and living off of the government. He is a loser and disgrace to LSU.

Brando is pissed at LSU because he did not get job as announcer for LSU football. Dale Brown aligns with anyone against LSU.

I posted this a few years ago. I live in Nashville. Mack Brown was a dear friend. The late Steve Carter who was assoc AD at LSU called me and asked me to call Mack toi see if he was interested in HC at LSU. Mack was out recruiting so I spoke to Darryl Moody (also a friend). Mack's dear friend and fellow coach at Carolina.
Moody found Mack and Called me back telling me not interested. I suggested they take a look at Dinardo who was coaching at Vandy.
A week or so later Dinardo was the HC at LSU.

Think of Dale Brown coaching football. This guy is a big talkers yet he never wins championships and always tons of excuses. I met him in Nashville where I live and he was at Vandy. Very nice guy. Got everything he wanted from Vandy and then split.
His teams are good but not great and do not have any identity. Not what we need at LSU.
He may want to come for the money. PSU only paid Joe Pa 450K. I think Franklin makes aroud 5M. We will see how much PSU love Mr. Franklin.

I have known Sam for 40 years. He is always the same when I see him. Smiling and positive. Sam is the most genuine Christian mand I have ever known and Have never hear him be preachy....he just lived it.
I also never heard Sam say abad word about any of the coaches that served under his tenure. He was there for McLendon, Stovall, Curlu, Arnsparger, Saban, Miles and now Orgerson.
He played at Auburn but was a Tiger through and through.

If you get SEC network in Directv you automatically get SECTV+. It is the channel after 611. It will not probable appear unitil just befor kickoff

I used to watch Press and Pete Maravich along with the varsity practice in that building. Press would have Pete practice blin passes and those between his legs over and over

Steve was a dear friend and true Tiger. Serve as Asst AD under joe Dean for a number of years.

Pops passed away last night following complications of recent surgery.
He was a former LSU football team captain having played for Charlie McClendon in the late 60s. He also lettered in baseball.
Pops was a great doctor and father to his three sons having lost his wife several years back. Pops was a great man who loved LSU.

He blamed the offense....BUT he did not control the clock very well on LSU drive. He did not run ball to center of field before last FG. Gave kicker a funky angle into the fog which he missed wide left.

O lived with NLU team around the corner from MIles and would go out to run when he knew Miles was driving in so Miles would talk to him.
The guy is an outright "snakeoil" salesman just like his great friend Petey Jenkins. Two muscle heads of a kind. O is not a good football coach....period!

I would not tell Orgeron what the pay was so he would not go over and fist bump our running back (CurrY) who got it twice.
I thiink they knew who was getting the ball.
I would run a pick/pass play but we may be the only team in NCAA that dosen't have one.

Vanderbilt is run by idiots. Nashville has a Harvard boy for mayor who is totally liberal. He closed down Broadway but permitted a protest/riot.
If you polled the faculty and students of Vanderbilt they would eliminate football,

I have know Sam for 35 years. One of the nicest most genuine competent people I have ever known. I never heard Sam say an unkind word about anyone.

Doug Moreau is a class act. Great player at LSU and then in NFL (Dolphins). His dad was an assistant football coach and coached the track team.
He is a big part of LSU athletics history.
I hope he stays on the air as long as he wants to.
