Bama claims 1941 as a national championship even though they lost to Vandy and Miss State(conference champs)and finished 20th in the AP. Minnesota was undefeated and unanimous national champions except for the one obscure guy who awarded Alabama the title. Flag is raised.
In 1973 #1 Alabama gets matched up with #2 Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Both teams are undefeated and untied going in to the game, so we will get to see a true national champion determined on the field. The game lives up to the hype as Notre Dame edges the Tide 24-23 and everyone believes that Notre Dame is the national champions since they won the game. Having lost the game to the Irish doesn't stop Alabama from claiming they are national champions. A flag is hung.
1978 rolls around and once again Bama fields a national title contending team. Alabama winds up going through the season with only a single blemish on their record and are awarded a bid to play in the Sugar Bowl for winning the SEC. Alabama gets matched against the top ranked undefeated Penn State Nittany Lions. The game turns out to be a classic as Bama stops Penn State at the goal late in the 4th quarter and win the game 14-7. Meanwhile, USC finishes its season with a Rose Bowl victory over once beaten Michigan. USC and Alabama finish the season with identical 11-1 records, but Alabama's loss was to USC. The coaches award USC the title since the only other team that could claim it on the field. Loss to USC doesn't matter to Alabama, another flag is raised.
In 2011 Alabama lost to LSU in "the game of century" in overtime by only 3 points. Since the loss wasn't decisive enough, Alabama still claims that they are the real #1 team in the country. The BCS does not place Bama against LSU in the National Championship Game, so we never get to see if LSU can really beat Alabama. Houlgate system awards Alabama the national title over undefeated BCS champion LSU. Once again doesn't matter that Bama lost to LSU, a national championship is awarded and a 14th flag is raised.

LSU fans start more threads about Bama than Bama fans do.

In the year 2050, Bama will claim a 2011 Nat. Championship. Book It.

I've never understood this one, at all.
Here are the final rankings of the SEC teams:
#14 Georgia
#16 MS State
#17 Ole Miss
#18 Tenn
#20 Alabama

No.
It would be like LSU claiming 2006, 2009, 2010, etc.
Or like bama claiming 2010. Yall only lost 3 games. Sounds like #14 to me
