LSU would have beat us just as bad as Bama did if we would have played them in September, but we are playing much better now. Keep in mind...that Bama game was Tyler Wilson's 1st SEC start. Our O-line is much better now, we have both starting DE's back, and Denis Johnson is playing like a STUD! I expect our offense to score 3-4 times. The key for us to stay competitive is shutting down your running game which is going to be damn tough. I expect a damn good game

nope, Hog fans on TD met at Catfish Hole a week ago and voted unanimously to deny LSU's application for rivalryship.
Hell I missed the memo.

Looks like BMFP has us peaking at the right time again don't you think?

Absolutely!

If JJ gets the majority of the snaps then Arkansas wins, if JL does then LSU wins.

Depends on turnovers. If we don't cough up the ball, I think that it's a one possession game. Don't know who wins.

Turnovers are going to be a big factor in the game. Arkansas has to execute well and capitalize on scoring opportunities.

Last 2 weeks Arkansas has played really well. Both have been home games. If they can bring that to TS in 2 weeks, it will be a close game. I wish i could fast forward these 2 weeks. I'm more excited for this game than i was for Bama. :superbowl:

No flames, no "We won 3 out of the last 4 crap", how do you guys honestly feel about the game. I think yall have an explosive offense and a solid defense and Im honestly more nervous for this game than I was for the Bama game. I think yall match up better with us than Bama does. I think we have DBs that can match up with yalls WRs but I think Joe Adams will be big in the return game and yall will score 24 points. The question is, can we score more? I think we do. LSU-31 Arkansas-24
It will take a great effort, minimal mistakes, solid special team play and capitalize on opportunities for the Hogs to win in Baton Rouge. No doubt LSU has a great defense and a good offense but I like the way the Hogs match up with the Tigers. I’m predicting the Hogs pull the upset 27-24.

You've got to look at the season as a whole. We played like shite in our QBs first road start. We play like shite in early games. The ole miss game ole miss played out of their minds to try and beat us and we played very poorly. Vandy is actually going to end up being a team that isn't awful but we still played like shite. USC is a top 15 team and it really wasn't as close as the score indicated. Tenner sucks but atleast we beat them like we should have.

I think it's going to be close, no doubt. Since Petrino has been at Arkansas, it's always close. Last time in Death Valley it was a 3OT win for LSU, I think.
LSU is better. Arkansas is, too. So I'd be surprised if it's more than a 10-point margin either way.
If I had to name a winner, I'd honestly go w/ LSU. They're the No. 1 team in the country and they're at home, which happens to be one of the toughest places to win in all of college football. Teams like that don't lose often.
That said, Arkansas, despite drilling Tennessee by 42 Saturday and USC by 16, still hasn't played a complete game. I honestly thought we could've - and should've - beat the Cocks 60-21. But if we do, that'd be the week I want to do it. If that happens, then Arkansas most certainly could pull a stunner in Baton Rouge.
As it stands though, I'm going w/ LSU in a very, very close game.

LSU is only giving up 12 pts a game all year long... They have played Alabama, Oregon, WVU who all3 score more than 38 a game...and LSU shut them down.
I dont' see the HOGS going crazy on points. Hog fans need to understand that LSU is a dang good defense team.. Not perfect, but dang efficient. Yes the LB's are average at best...so the cross routes will be open
what will happen? LSU will let Arkansas get the underneath stuff and give up 350-425 plus yards and a lot of time..thus a lower scoring game. LSU will tighten up the red zone, and force Arkansas to kick feild goals or punt...or get impatient and force turnovers...
LSU will not let Arkansas beat them with the long ball this year.. That was the difference in last years game. 2 deep balls.
It's just not going to happen in this game with a National Championship in the balance.
28-17 LSU

Playing for this.......
2 years in a row when the past 5 years have been decided by less than 7 points.

Agreed. The upper limit for Hog scoring IMO is 27. I think LSU gets at least 35.
I'll say 38-24 LSU.
