He claims that Barrett Jones is the weak link on the Alabama offensive line. I don't know what the hell he is smoking, but Jones is a for sure 1st Team All-SEC selection and may even get a 1st Team All-American selection. He'll most definitely get a 2nd Team All-American selection.

That is just an objectively stupid statement.

I think his point is that he may not be athletic enough to handle smaller/faster Montgomery when pass blocking...same thing on the other side with Fluker and Mingo...

Would you be happier if the weak link had been anyone else?
The bama fans' issue seems to be more with Luginbill having the effrontery to claim that Bama has a weak link

I can see the argument with Fluker. Not with Barrett.

Can't really put a whole lot of stock in what these "experts" say. They obviously don't do their research half the time and just blurt out statements to tick people off. If this is the plan then I guess it works but I prefer people who know what they are talking about and this statement is ridiculous.

Not happier, but there are others who aren't as good as Jones. He's probably the best Olineman we've got.

Agree with Fluker but not Jones. He has very quick first step.

If he named ANYone else on the Oline, I could buy it. Barrett Jones is Alabama's best Olineman.

Alabama has weak links (e.g., no great #1 WR) but an all-SEC possible all-American Olineman is not one.

I have to agree somewhat. Jones has been beat several times this year. He's Bama's best option at LT but he's not in his natural guard position.

Sort of like Robert Smith saying that the Bama DL is better than the LSU DL?

I am shocked the Luginbill made such a statement because we all know he is a Bama GUMP. I lost a lot of respect for him after watching The Experts on ESPN.

It'd be like him saying Tyrann Mathieu is the weak link in Lsu's secondary.

Every offensive linemen gets beat. The problem with Luginbill's assertion is that Jones is our most consistent, and best offensive lineman. Our pass protection since the first two games of the season has been very good and Jones is one of the biggest reasons why.

Bama has 99% of all Media absolutely kissing the arse of all things Bama.....EVERYTHING! Yet Bama fans feel butt-hurt over the 1% comments that do not completely kiss their arse. GTFO! LSU fans have to listen to more BAMA suckfest and how we are weaker at everything but punting.
I know, in your little world NO ONE should ever have an opinion that is not aligned with BAMA f%$# nation and your OVERHYPED PROPOGANDA MACHINE.

He is just saying something to stand out amongst the sea of commentators making it up as they go along with this game.
