How strong has the SEC been since the end of the 2009 season?

Good question, and I have the answer.
Since the end of the 2009 season, there have been 22 AP polls released. Of those 22, 3 SEC teams have been ranked in all of those polls released. One team has been ranked in all but one of the polls released. Another team has only missed 3 weeks, while one other team has only been left out 8 times.
Alabama- 22 weeks
Arkansas- 22 weeks
LSU- 22 weeks
South Carolina- 21 weeks
Auburn- 19 weeks
Florida- 14 weeks
Miss State- 12 weeks
Georgia- 3 weeks

I know you are going alphabetically but I can't believe you put Arkansas over LSU when the two schools are tied. LSU has done more than r-ky in that time frame. You're pure fricking trash.

We have a problem with the basis of this thread because Arkansas was not ranked in the final AP poll in 2009.

I think you have a problem with reading comprehension.

That is all.

I believe we were ranked #18 or so before the SECCG. After that beat down followed by a bad bowl performance I was actually quite surprised that we managed to stay ranked.

Sucks that we lost one of those weeks after getting a win.

Georgia was ranked #23 pre-season 2010. #22 Sept. 22nd. Ranked pre-season #19 this year.

Simply shows how strong the west has been the last few seasons.

You get him crow pie. I respect the hell out of you tigers. Nov 5 could be the greatest goddamned football game ever played. If I wasnt'a a borned in a puddle of crimson tide I would, and i've stabbed my hands a couple of times for even thinking about typing this, but if I hadnt been born in an elephants arse I'd be a bayou bengal. I'd tigerbait the shite out of every sumbitch I know. I'd tigrbait my own grandma and ifI she didnt like it I'd slap the meatloaf off the counter and scream at her favorite cat.
p.s. I love you
p.s. I love you

No, I read fine but since when is one select season and 5 games a "measuring stick" of a teams success?

Its not about one team dumbass. It is about the entire conference.
Are you fricking special?

My bad I thought the SEC has been DOMINATING CFB for years...not just since August of 2010.
I must have been confused by the 7 BCS Titles by 5 different teams.

I like how this conveniently starts after Arkansas has gone on a streak.
Since the 2008 season ended (i.e. the start of the 2009 season):
BAMA = 38 weeks
LSU = 38 weeks
UF = 30 weeks
USCe = 24 weeks
Arkansas = 22 weeks
Auburn = 20 weeks
MSU = 12 weeks
Ole Miss = 10 weeks
UGA = 8 weeks
So as you can see, trying to inflate Arky's rankings is pretty pathetic since you literally looked at only the last 1.3 seasons.
