have we ever seen a faster player??
I can't think of one. Trindon was close, but he was just a track guy playing football. Who else?

Jackson was probably close, but not faster than Demps.

The LSU d lineman (#94 i think) that ran down the West Virginia RB/WR last night.
Those people actually think they are fast up there.

That video doesn't look like Willie Gault to me.

Darren Mcfadden.

Probably not. Locke was lightning fast but Demps and Rainey are even faster and it's not all that close. Derek Abney gets honorable white boy mention.

Over 50 and can still run a 10.8 100 and a 4.4 forty. Freaking ridiculous

If they still were using stopwatches for 40s, possibly...

There are about five guys who stand out as the fastest I can recall in the SEC in terms of football speed.
Gault
Walker
Jackson
McFadden
Holiday
Demps is right there just on the fringe of that group-- truly an elite burner, just like Flowers, Cannon, and Alexander Wright of Auburn.
The differences are such that on any given day, one of them could be the fastest in pads.

This. I was on the sidelines for the 82(?) game against us where he ran back a kickoff for a TD. Dude was pulling away from Liffort Hobley and was only going about 3/4 speed.
