Before the season started, I would have said South Carolina, but I have doubts about that now. I'm just not sure if they're a championship team from what I've seen of them. I know Navy is no slouch, but USC shot themselves in the foot a lot last night. Also, if I were a USC fan I would have grave concerns about Marcus Lattimore. He had over 40 touches last night, and anyone who thinks he'll make it through the entire season with that kind of workload is nuts. You'd think Spurrier would want to protect his team's strongest asset.

And isn't the offense pretty predictable the way it is now? They can't be too tough for opposing DC's to scheme against because they know he's getting the ball more than half the time.

I think Florida will win the East now. Their defense looked good against what had up to that point been an explosive Tennessee offense, and it looks like Charlie Weiss is going to be able to do good things with Brantley playing qb. His system definitely fits Brantley's skillset better anyway.

What do yall think? I would be almost willing to put money down on Florida winning their division now.

Florida. Got to see a little of the FLA-TN game and FLA is fast, very fast.

I love Spurrier but I don't think they can beat FLA.

It will be FLA. I am still holding out some hope because. I don't want to play FLA twice.

SC will give Florida a fight but I would pick the Gators to win the East!
