Who's the bigger loss... Kragthorpe or Davis?

I think without a doubt it's Kragthorpe. I am reading a bunch of chatter on here predicting gloom and doom for the Hogs, but I don't see this injury setting us back that much.
It's a simple breakdown.
Hogs lose Davis but we still have a quartet of bad arse receivers and one of the best play callers in the game. Not to mention the return of Denis Johnson who was ahead of Davis on the depth chart last year before he was injured. The offense will still be VERY GOOD. Davis is a great talent, but unlike the Nutt years, we are not going to sink because we lose one guy.
LSU loses Kragthorpe who was apparently helping JJ quite a bit. The new o-coordinator has previous experience in this role at Bowling Green. Pretty sure Miles will be running the LSU offense.
The loss of these men flat out suck for both programs, but LSU will feel more of an impact than Arkansas.

Davis. Kragthorpe is still very much a part of this offense.

Will tell you in a couple of months. Have no clue right now, as no one else does.

LSU's offense sucked before Krags, and it will with him gone (unless Mett takes over, of course). Davis was a key component in Arky's offense the second half of the year. Plus - They're breaking in a new QB and have questions on the OL.
Bigger loss is Davis, IMO.

I knew he was going to be the QB coach, but I didn't realize he was well enough to be that heavily involved with the offense.

Please tell me how he had the 3rd ranked offense in 2004....

Do tell. I need some more of this surprising wisdom from you to prepare for doomsday.

Got to be Davis. Kragthorpe is down but not out.

Wow y'all are really obsessed with LSU. It's kinda sad.

Since Kragthorpe is still the QB coach and will assist in gameplanning I say Davis undoubtedly. It's a shame for a kid so talented to lose a year especially with a knee injury. Here's hoping a to good recovery.

LSU didn't lose Kragthorpe so the only answer is Davis

Pretty sure Kragthorpe is still with the QB's....so it's for sure going to hurt the hogs more to lose Knile

Hey Dingus...

For the bulk of the time the media was allowed to watch, the Quarterbacks were throwing some deep corner routes coming off a simulated play action. If you could find one thing that Zach Mettenberger needs to work on (and this is nitpicking here), it would be to work on his touch passing. He only completed 1 of his 6 passes corner routes this morning. A lot of his balls were either too deep or too short, he couldn't find that happy medium.
– Jerrard Randle looked really good throwing the ball today. Let it be known that this kid isn't just an athlete playing quarterback a la Russell Shepard 2009 – He can really sling it.

Studrawa has it all under control, Pig. This will be the best offense LSU has fielded in years.
No worries.
