I think it's wildly underestimated what an enormously poor cultural fit any team from Texas will be to the SEC, much less a school w/ the "persona" of A&M. If you've never see them play in person it's comical the ridiculous dorky BS they do in the stands on on the sidelines from kickoff to the horn sounds. Yeah, they have bunch of cash and great TV markets, but if you thought Arky was a misfit and a midwestern/SWC school - just you wait. A&M will make Arky look like Sawannee's southern heritage. Most old school SEC fans are going to HATE, and I mean, literally HATE - Texas A&M. Not only do you have to put up with their retarded shaved heads and ugly women, but you also have to tolerate that overwhelming Texas pride horseshite. And if you haven't gotten a whiff on that before it'll make the Gumps arrogance seem very modest. They're coming it sounds like, but consider yourself warned. These folks suck arse.

Ha! No offense to your woman. I'm sure she's easy on the eye. My pt is that by and large the chicks that we would consider SEC-caliber go to SMU or Texas-Austin or even Baylor (blee dat). The girls that go to A&M usually wind up going there because their father did and it was either go to A&M or be disowned. Or, they were a 10th grade hottie and some sophomore DB from A&M was robbing the craddle and coerced her into coming up there and then promptly dumped her for another high school chick.

I really dont think the Aggies are going to fit in with our way of fandem here. We hate each other on game day, but for the most part, the SEC is a band of brothers. We have conference pride and want to see it upheld. Schools in other conferences dont get that, and never will. Adding new teams to the mix will only bring in hate from the outside and the more I think about it the more I dont want it. But you can bet your sweet arse that if Slive can make it happen he will.
His proposed legacy of making the SEC probation free has fell through on him so now he has to find something else to be his legacy. Conference expansion will be it. Which is sad really because its not like he will be the only commish to do it.

Yep. I have also sat with Aggies on a few occasions. Its loud, but its not spontaneous and just not too much fun. Its regimented.
