this thread is pretty telling on whats happening on this board. very few LSU fans in flagship threads now as the flagship has crushed them all summer long.
bama now feels the pressure of the flagship heading towards them and are trying everything to stop the flagship.

Nope, but I can name what back up QB had just as many regular season TDs as Jefferson in one half of play.

No more than JJ did.
Only Auburn had more wins than LSU last year and none of those QB are anywhere near Cam Newton in 2011 and he had a season for the ages.
Therefore 11-2 versus the remainding 10 SEC team's best of 10-2 cannot be logically upsurped.

trying to use wins to justify jj being a starter or trying to imply he is better than those with betters stats is silly.
its kinda like saying trent dilfer was a better qb than dan marino because he won a super bowl and dan didn't.
or saying flynn was a better college qb than jr because flynn won a nc despite having the same record as jr in their final years.

going 5-8 with 28 yards passing no tds and a fumble is leading LSU to victory vs mcneese state
4-10 for 51 yards vs ulm leading to victory
throwing td passes in 4 out of 13 games is leading a team to 11 wins not holding them back.
going over 100 yards passing only 6 times, and over 250 once is leading teams to wins
