Not looking good for Auburn...

Paraphrased from Kirk McNair, founder of Bama Magazine just posted this:
ETA: Title change to remove "flame" like wording.
ETA #2: re-worded in order to un-wad the panties of several BAMA posters. GFY
quote:
Everyone knew that Al Capone was guilty of murder and robbery and extortion and prostitution, etc. ButCapone was as adept at hiding the guilt as it was in its perpetration. Finally, the Feds got him in an area where he had not covered up... tax evasion. He later died in prison of syphilis.
The comparison is Auburn - (a football program that everyone knows has been dirty for years and which recently bought a star player). The only ones who don't believe it are part of the Auburn fambleh. It has looked for a while as though the family was going to get away with it again, because it has perfected the art of covering up its cheating and stonewalling any cooperation into investigation. Now rumor has it that while the buying players crime may have been covered up, NCAA investigators have found something else -- the so-called "tax evasion." And with it they have found the cover-up.
Stay tuned.

This is a man who used to work for the University as part of their SID. This is why the rest of the country thinks most of the bammers are rednecks.

Seems like some nice baseless rumors to me, and I'd love to watch the Aubbie meltdown if something really went down.

Usually professionals who own magazines and websites don't go posting stuff like that unless they have a credible source - so as not to make themselves look foolish (a la J. Lee)... I don't think McNair is known for shite-stirring, although I admittedly don't know much about him other than the fact that he runs a fairly large website and pretty successful magazine.
