Does anyone out there not think Gus will be AU's HC as soon as Gene retires or gets fired. No matter where he is most likely. The odds are very high we will be calling him and he will accept. Does anyone believe Jay Jacobs will not reach out to him? I believe we will be even more powerful in recruiting when the Malzahn ERA begins and rise even further as a national powerhouse. GUS! GUS!........GUS

So let me see if I get this right, chiz falls on his face, gets fired, and you expect AU to promote Gus?
Or are you saying that Gus is a gonner after this year and would come back to AU?
What if he had a good job? Why would he want to come back to a program run in the ground (if it got so bad you fired chiz, it must be pretty run down)

Gene Chizik is only 49 years old, and Auburn just signed him to a 5 years contract extension. Gene is going to be your head coach WAY past 2014. Gus being your head coach at some point is very unlikely IMO
