"Toomer's For Tuscaloosa" rolls into T-Town...
Organizer Warren Tidwell and other volunteers of the Tide For Toomer’s disaster relief effort have secured a 28,000 square foot warehouse for receiving and sorting supplies, which according to Tidwell have come from as far away as The Netherlands.
"There’s a van coming from LSU and a group from UCLA coming," Tidwell says.

Love how disasters and situations like this bring out the best in folks. Just a shame it takes stuff like this to do it. WDE and Roll Tide

They just teased this story ("Bitter rivals" blah blah blah) as after the commercial break on NBC Nightly News, so if you're quick, you might catch it.

The Netherlands huh? That's impressive.

I'm glad to see so many people are trying to lend a hand, no matter where they may be.

LSU/Bama series is possibly being moved to Birmingham(regions I guess) And there will be large barrels and tables accepting for donations to help the victims. That's the rumor at least.

I'm pretty sure it will be moved. The Alabama-Kentucky softball series has already been canceled.

Capstone, if it's moved to Birmingham, will it be at Regions?

I think that would be the likely destination.

Awesome and classy move by the Auburn folks. I saw a group of LSU fans had set up shop, complete with LSU tent, and was cooking and serving up real gumbo tailgate style. Very classy move folks.
