Wait till you see Tennessee's team next year.
Six Seniors gone, Tobias and Scotty declaring to leave, all of our recruits are officially asking for a release from their LOI.
Josh Bone will be the best player on our team next year. Thats scary.

I was gonna go with hilarious, but I guess scary works better for you since you are a Vol.
ETA: Will UTk only have 5 guys on scholarship next season? Losing 8 players and not adding any freshmen would seem to do it.

that was the point where i wanted to fire trent. auburn should have never finished ahead of us and yet trent found a way.

Josh Bone was a senior this year.
Trae Golden, Cam Tatum, and Jordan McRae will battle for that title.
Woolridge, Maymon, Hall, McBee will also be on the squad.
Hopson I also expect back. An 18 win season should be expected with Golden, Hopson, Tatum, Maymon, and Hall starting. That team would be a very good pressing team when McRae comes in for Tatum.
The new coach's first test will be securing Jarnell Stokes' signature in November, he is the number five overall player in the class of 2012. His brother is already a UT student and his best friend just signed with Tennessee in football.

Tennessee still has far more talent coming back than Auburn did. Even if Hopson is gone.

Reminds me a lot of Georgia after Harrick (DGCoach) got canned and we brought in Felton. It was a disaster. Most kids left or transferred, SOMEhow he kept a few good guys on that first year and we actually had a winning record. The second year was when all Harrick's guys had left, and we went 8-20 (2-14). Ouch.

Are you vols hearing anything about if all the recruits will be granted an unconditional release? I know we'll go HARD after Ware assuming he is let out, our guard play would be nasty next year if we could bring him in.

We won't do anything until a new coach is in place. His agenda will be:
1. Try to sway Tobias to stay
2. Make sure Hopson returns
3. Keep Chris Jones
4. Lock up Jarnell Stokes (top 10 player nationally and top player in state in 2012)
5. Keep Kevin Ware
We are full of shooting guards who can't shoot, Ware is way down on our list of priorities.

I actually feel bad for UT basketball fans. I liked Pearl a lot and had a lot of respect for him after he beat the shite out of Gottfried in the NCAA's. The SEC needs as many good coaches as we can get in basketball. Our conference just got even more average.
