Not starting, just pointing out facts. Get over Rammer Jammer, it is not going away. Deal with it.

that will go down as one of the greatest wins for me

Don't blame you. Would have gone down as one of the greatest for me, too. I'm 20, so I don't remember the 90's as well as some, and the happiest I had been about a win was probably 2001 in the Swamp. Denying Bama a perfect season/national championship probably would have replaced it.

The one thing that bothers me about that game is I still feel like Bama fans don't really respect the effort the Vols gave that day. I've always heard there was plenty of respect at the stadium, but when hearing about it, it seems like the Tide fans refused to give any credit to Kiffin and staff for having the Vols playing well that day. We caught a break with the fumble, but it wasn't a complete fluke that we were in that game.

What is the point of you saying this twice? I can read, which I know is shocking to you.

Agreed. I had a student guest ticket that game, and there was no better place to be right then. Right in that endzone. I was praying to anyone and everyone who might help at that moment!

My friend started there last year. He was sick that day. I think it's the only game he has missed so far. He even went to the BCS title game.

Your facts are lame. Creamsicle overalls? Ive seen like 5 people wearing them in my life. Wife beaters? I think Alabama has a higher percentage of their fans in this attire at any given time.

Really? You feel taunted and embarrassed by a college cheer?

He was talking to me on facebook chat towards the end. He signed off when Tennessee recovered the onside kick.

Then after the status, he came back and made his status, "Hey Vols, we just beat the hell outta you." A bunch of fans not from the south were like 'wtf, you won by 2.'

I don't really think so. I'm also glad we're not wearing red or blue like everyone else.

It is a taunt. Do I feel embarrassed? No, but that is clearly the intent.

No I think the color of flowers and sunsets is much more beautiful than a color most known for dried blood.

You clearly have not been to as many UT games as I have. Last year alone, I saw 5 women wearing their overalls and wife beaters and pigtails (they were most definitely in their 40s) standing in a group at a bar before the game. Saw one old dude with these sweet hand painted ones that you could tell he spent a lot of time on. White with orange paint.
