IF they continue to play as they are? Who else gets in,in your opinion from sec. Will 11-5 record in sec get us in,or do we HAVE to win the sec tournament

I think your RPI is 91.
You got serious work to do.
SEC Tournament Title seems like the way to go if you don't win the SEC reg. season championship.

A lot riding on the Ole Miss matchups.
We have an RPI of 58.
You're at like 90.
Probably need to beat us twice.

If we finish 11-5, that means Bama would not have "conitnued to play as they are". That would mean they would only have gone 4-4 over the last half of the SEC season. That would put Bama in serious jeopardy.
12-4 minimum to lock an NCAA bid.

WE got to beat Vandy or Florida ,plus win all western division games we have left or no dice

Gotta win 12 SEC games and 2 in the tourney

Losing at Ole Miss wouldn't be a killer as long as we beat either Florida or Vandy and Georgia at home.
And no, 11-5 is not good enough.

The way they are playing most of the time they have a very good chance..

ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi thinks 12-4 will be just enough to get in, but CBS Sports Bracketologist Jerry Palm said that 12-4 won't even be close.
It basically depends on who they beat, what other bubble teams do, and how much their RPI improves

Bama doesnt have to win this game or that game- winning the SEC regular season title makes you a lock- so they need a minimum 11 wins- probably 12
If you dont win the SEC regular season, then you have to have at least 12 wins to be assured of a berth- but I think 12 wins the SEC
No SEC regular season champ has failed to make the Tourney since it expanded to 32 in 1975- and it wont happen this year either

Your SOS and RPI will improve based on the fact you have Florida and Vandy left. If you win one or both then your RPI will put you right on the bubble depending on if you lose to Aub, LSU MSU or OM in Tuscaloosa. You will probably need 1 more in the SEC tourney to get in.

If we go 14-2 and lose to Auburn at home, NIT 8 seed.

True, but there has never been such an unbalanced year in the SEC. I could definitely see a scenario where Bama wins the regular season title outright, but they are in the NIT while five East teams go dancing.

NIT
If we miss the dance and go to the NIT, you know what they're going to make us do. They're going to make us play UAB. Hopefully we beat them by 123583923 points so their 7 whiny bitch-arse fans are never heard from again.

UK, Florida and Vandy are in and playing for seeds barring some kind of crazy collapse.
Tennessee has those huge OOC wins so I think they're safe even at, say, 7-9 in the SEC. So, as long as they simply beat the bottom feeders there in.
UGA isn't as much of a lock as some people seem to think.
Just like Bama, they have serious work to do in the second half of the season. In their favor is that they certainly pass the eye test with NBA talent and will have a solid RPI/SOS.
However, even though they've only lost to good teams, at some point they need to actually beat one of those teams. As it stands, it's surprising that they probably have less quality wins than Bama (UK at home like everybody else it seems + UAB at Home???, @Ole Miss???). They really missed a huge opportunity to pretty much seal the deal at home tonight against Xavier.
I think they'll get the quality win or two they need before @Bama at the end of the season. If not, that'll be one the biggest SEC games of the regular season.
Bama: I think Bama WOULD get a bid at 12-4 SEC plus no flame out to a poor team in the tourney simply because the bubble is not exactly stacked with world beaters. That said, I'm not so sure Bama makes it to 12-4.

if they continue to play as they are i think they will make it....if they beat FL/UGA thay will make up for a loss to UM or to another West team
as for the rest i think UK/FL are locks. Vandy will get in and i think Tenn somehow still makes it in (idk y i think this after the way we have played)

11-5 would mean a severe drop-off in the last weeks of the season so no that would not cut it short of winning the SEC title.(which is not that long of a reach IMO)
I think 13-3 in the SEC will get you in no matter what happens in the SECtourney. First of all that probably wins not only the west but the conference and no SEC regular season champ will ever be left out of the tourney. That will probably have the RPI in the 70's which is good enough considering many teams (like Ole Miss) have decent RPI's but won't get into the dance without a miracle.
