I'm pretty indifferent to FB. I use it off and on, and check in on my account occassionally, but sometimes weeks go by without me going to it and then I get some message in my email asking me why I haven't logged in recently or some bullshite.

Now I am tempted to go harrass recruits and say, please come play for us, we love you or some horseshite like that. All because of this statement when I have never even been to a recruits FB page before.

Pisses me off.

Despite what Cyrus said, I highly doubt facebook posts had much to do with it. I think he was just thanking his fans from both teams for the support.

Looks like that backfired. If Cyrus was really gauging his FB as a factor, that was a big mistake as AU fans tried to give him some space and respect him more than bammers.

Damn TIM , get your head out of your arse.

DUDE..... I don't have a FB, but it doesn't take a genius to know that the most notorious FB stalking fanbase in our conference are you creepy barners. Most recruits are turned off by it.

If by Gave him space you mean sent Walt Williams after him then I guess you are right. Seriously TIM, you need to take a good hard look at what you are trying to pass off as fact. Evidence is against you on this one.

I bet if I logged onto his FB from someone's account i would see it overrun with AU fans as well as Bama fans.

Plus until I see that direct quote in the OP from a link, I am calling BS.

I would hope so, but that is certainly not how it comes across.

My guess is that the same people that work for Jerry Springer work for FB, they thrive on people like you.

Umm.. I think that quote is legit and it is pretty obvious you are wrong in your assessment if most of his FB posts were from gumps.

Tell that to Pat Dye's daughter who was writing poetry and Bible verses on his wall. Our crazy fans were doing it. The daughter of your most beloved coach was doing it.

My point is that crazies from both fan bases were all over his FB wall so stop shedding tears.

If you are trying to say do it, wtf are you talking about? I already said I have never even been to a recruits facebook page and barely use it.

Apparently it was pretty one-sided or a overwhelming majority were gumps. I think part of that was due to AU boards encouraging AU fans to give him space and not FB the shite out of him.

Saban's daughter is what, 17? Dye's is like 50. It's still wrong on both parts but I think a middle aged ugly heifer is a little worse.

I just saw that quote. Is it me or does it seem like it was more of a family decision for him to go to Alabama?

Seriously... I didn't know I was supposed to help him make his decision. shite most fans aren't creepy enough to beg a recruit on facebook and twitter. We need to up our creepiness i guess.

That is out the window now. FB stalking will be absolutely through the roof now.

You guys were the facebook family last year. Don't even pretend you're innocent.
