It's his plan.

God has to break us down before building us up.
All in the plan. Let us bow our heads and pray

The basketball team is getting shunned by the family

Get your shots in now because we will have a much better team next year.

Not as much as he hates the Gamecocks though.

That's not a shot, it's his plan. Don't you understand that?

Agreed. I wanted Grant at Auburn before you guys hired him. He is an excellent coach and quality recruiter.

I expect an LSU 09-10 to 10-11 type improvement from the eagles next year.

Wrong...he hates basketball therefore he does not care.

Dead-last in the SEC in scoring margin and FG%.
It's a God thing.
God doesn't drop consecutive home games to UNC-Ashville, Samford, and Campbell.

Baiting or not, Alabama will be much improved in the 2011-12 season. More talent coming in.

Yes, he's not a used car sales man/preacher like Barbie doll.

I do have concerns that he is relying to much on Huntsville talent. I may be forgetting somebody but I can't think of a single player from Huntsville that has ever lived up to their hype. The last player from Huntsville/Madison Co that I can remember being an impact player is Bobby Lee Hurt back in the 80's.
ETA: Howard Pride had a decent career at Vandy but he never made the impact that you would expect from a player of the year.

Why would you care if Alabama sold out for Huntsville talent only? Regardless, Grant seems to be recruting all over the place. Huntsville just seems to be the base of in-state talent for now.

I like Anthony Grant and don't mind if he has success. I like basketball more than football and wouldn't mind seeing our teams games mean something. Huntsville has seemed to have the base of talent most years(Cousins and Bledsoe are the exceptions) but those players always under perform in college.
