going for between 5000-7000 a pair! A pair in a section near mine is currently $7,180.00 with an hour to go...For the first time I am SERIOUSLY rethinking this...Even if I take the hit on the 330.00 for the hotel room and flight I am STILL making ridiculous profit considering I paidface value for my section 139 seats...just wow..
but I'll probably still go....then regret it lilke hell if we get smashed by the quackers...oh well...I've got a couple more days to decide

You do know you have to fork over 10% of the profits to Cecil Newton right (per the ATPB Ranters)
....its just the price you pay to be part of the fam

Sell the tickets, enjoy the tailgate, then buy a ticket off a scalper for $100 after kickoff.
Enjoy 98% of the game and enjoy your winnings, whether or not you win.

Yeah - sell, but go anyway. That's an assload of money! I had a friend that went to the Texas-USC game in Pasadena and had a blast without actually going to the game.
Think of what you can do to the trailer with that kind of money! (It's just a joke...

Sold my pair yesterday for $5,000. After what I paid for the tickets originally, and other costs, I profited $3400 and will still be out there tailgating before and after the game. If I come across a really good deal, I'll buy. But if not, I'll sit my arse in a bar across the street with a big ole smile on my face.

Do it for the money: It's the Auburn way. Cam would approve.

Sale sale sale!!! If people are dumb enough to spend that much on a football game then take their money and get a ticket after kickoff.

I bit the bullet and went to the game in 03. I cashed out in 07. Cashing out is better.

Dude, you're an Auburn fan. You need to go to the game because your team is never going back to it.

I've got 6 tickets to the Birmingham bowl i'll let go for 5K.

Wow.
I would not be surprised if these tickets are the most expensive BCSCG tickets in history in the secondary market now.

Well, this is the first BCS Championship Game that hasn't featured at least one elite program.
Both aggregate fanbases know this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

I think it is also because AU and Oregon have been the talk of college football for most of the season (sometimes for the wrong reasons).
They both play a very exciting style of football and in Oregon's case, they are kinda a shiny new toy for college football. AU has had NC calibre teams several times in the past 3 decades, but never gotten the shot, so people probably want to see how we do. Sometimes it is good to have a couple of new teams in the big game. Especially if the teams are very good.
