Whichever school they go to then so be it, out of mine and everybody's control with what they decide. They would be a great addition to any roster but if they honestly believe whatever choice they make is the best then i am happy for them and wish them a successful career, except the game they are playing us of course if it comes to that. But a bunch of older men, and some women i guess, following teenage kids, stressing out over them, and hanging on their every word and move is kind of weird in my opinion

Following recruiting is always fun this time of year, but it seems now a days most of the kids commit early and there isnt as much drama on signing day.

Yes signing day is exciting and has slowed down a bit, but for the month or so before, fans just get down right creepy, pretty much go into stalking mode. I'm sure kids are committing earlier now because they dont want a bunch of people knowing what they are doing every second of their lives, and committing early would definitely ease up on the amount of followers

Recruiting is like a second season in the off season. You are competing against rival schools. There can never be too much of that.

Maybe a little, but do you not think Ole Miss hasn't been selling how good Mike Wallace turned out in the NFL or how Shay Hodge had a 1,000 yard receiving year last year? You may be in for a big surprise

Ole Miss doesn't even know who us going to be their Starting QB next season.
Chris Relf's last three games of this season were his most productive of the season.
Looking forward to see what hat Tobias picks this Saturday.

I think he was a senior in '08. Just look at how many good players that O coached that didn't do shite under O. Freaking amazing how pathetic of a coach he was...

At least coach O could recruit. We had Croom couldn't coach or recruit.

This is probably true, but the fact of the matter is Ole Miss is more of a pass oriented offense. Nothing wrong with State's offense, it has worked well for ya'll. But recievers want to go where they can get the most catches.
Ole Miss - 330 passing attempts
MSU - 288 passing attempts (67 were thrown by Russell)

The reason we didn't pass more was due to our lack of WRs. We passed for more yds our last 3 games of the season than we did in any 3 game stretch. Relf will pass more next year with more weapons such as Michael Carr, Jameon Lewis, and hopefully Singleton and/or Brassell.

I mean... If it's what Tobias said, it's what he said. And, also, while I would agree that it "helps" and all, you're treating the guy's commitment as some sort of foregone conclusion based on the reasons above. Not the same, broseph.

Legit question: How many of your OL and defensive starters were recruited by Croom?
I think if you dug that up, you'd be surprised with what you find.

And your trying to forget the fact your Rebels finished 4-8 and lost at home to Vandy and Jacksonville State.
If you don't think current success matters your crazy.
