We technically SHOULD win 10 or 11 games per year. Were you born yesterday? UGA won 13,11,10,10,9,11,10 games from 2002-2008.
I agree. As long as I've been watching college football, UGA has always been one of the top programs in the country and should win atleast 9+ games a year.

I will say that the last time UGA was playing for the national title was also probably the last time they bought a player-- much like AUburn right now.

The main problem at UGA is that the administration and the fans can not stomach what it takes to have a winning program.

The basketball coaches at UGA have traditionally had poor relationship with AU coaches and handlers.

The administration has turned away athletes that were actually cleared by the NCAA in multiple sports.

Caleb King and Mike Mercer passed their classes but were either suspended or kicked off the team for not attending a required number of tutoring sessions.

The President of the University works with the local police to take a tough stance on underage drinking that is not prevalent in other college towns. Matters which are handled in-house at other athletic programs are not at UGA.

The big money alumni complained at the beginning of the football season that the school was not being hard enough on the football players.

The Athletic Program has now instituted a no-tolerance policy (including a ban on down town Athens after dark) which I am sure has recruits clamoring to go there. Odell Thurman would have never survived at today’s UGA.

Further the relationship between UGA Athletics and high schools within the state are not nearly as good as it should be.

The bad publicity over that fiasco at Carver in 2009 virtually ruined that recruiting class (in addition to the fired coaches) and Georgia’s future chances at a lot of the players out of that school.

Their relationship with schools in metro-Atlanta is inconsistent and areas of the state that were once a lock (south Georgia) no longer are.

They're just like Auburn.

Except for that whole "losing record against Auburn" thing.

Of course that can be said for every team in the SEC except for bammer and LSU.

Nope.

12th in all time winning percentage

11th in all time wins

Not top ten.

I would say that ND and Michigan are moving down as the years go by,

This.

I had a Michigan fan at work talk shite to me all week and as soon as State thumped them he gave me the tradition speech. I told him after they shite can RR it would get worse before it got better.

UGA just aren't used to losing more than 4 games a year. The shock will wear off soon and UGA will get back but firing Richt isn't the answer. Bobo need to go though IMO.

20's, so yeah young. I wouldn't put them up there with Texas or anything but they've been pretty good.

When ol' Herschel pulled up his freshman year driving his brand new Trans Am, I bet he paid for it with money he saved up from his summer jobs.

I'm sure Don Leeburn had nothing to do with it, brother!

How many times has UGA been embroiled in a recruiting scandal since then?

How many times has the barn?

We may suck right now, but at least the entire nation doesn't think we cheat.

You named your football field after a guy caught on tape giving a player money.

Irony!

And last but not least, one name.......

No other top program embraces mediocrity like we do. Honestly, it's embarassing.
