Richard Samuel will be solid, and a great pass blocker, and I think Malcome might surprise. I'm still not completely sold on Crowell - he definately has the talent, but I don't think he will be to UGA what Lattimore was/is to Sackerlina. However, if I'm wrong, I will be the first to admit it.

I'm more excited about news like this:

Receiver Malcolm Mitchell from Valdosta is generating more buzz at this point than any freshman. “He ran a post pattern and split our starting safety and one of our starting corners,” Murray said. “Shawn Williams came up to me afterwards and said `I’ve never seen someone with that kind of speed before.”

Murray said that Mitchell is working harder than anyone and already knows about 70 to 80 percent of the playbook. Murray said that Mitchell “could start for anyone in the country right now. That kid is special.”

You all have no clue what your talkig about Washaun would be a great back if he put his focus on football obviously it has strayed away just like all the othr football players at georgia ....I live in southwest ga and bacarri yalls safety came from my rival high school and our high school has also faced weslyn who used to b a 2a school not too long ago they were beastly few years ago...anyways to make a story short I know a lot of players that go to GA and as long as they keep their lives focused on selling dope and partying ga won't be relevant for a long time

Are you from Bainbridge?

What exactly do you not like about Nashville?

Not enough Judge Bean's BBQ?

I get the feeling, from his opinion of Thayer Evans, that Thayer isn't one of the two he's referring to.

And he also hinted at unfavorable new headlines.

May not be related, but on a flight back from Atlanta last night, Bernie Goldberg was onboard.

If he is here for investigative reasons, its more likely the political scandal with Milty/Gilley and crew than anything else.

Yes, you destroyed me. Zack Mettenberger kicked off the team shows Richt is the SEC's leading advocate of favoritism.

What does Ealy getting kicked off the team show you? We have Caleb King and two unproven running backs in Ken Malcomb and Isaiah Crowell. For all we know they could turn into the next Jasper Sanks - and we already know what a disappointment King has been.

Richt can be called many things, but to say he shows favoritism more than other coaches in the SEC or the NCAA is laughable.

I am no huge fan of Mark Richt. Do I want him to succeed? Of course, I think he's a great man, but he hasn't shown much in quite a while.

Not sure why you have such a hard-on for UGA anyway. Therapy might help.

He was about to be redshirted.

I'm sure with your vast knowledge of college football you realize that freshmen linebackers sometimes take a while to develop don't you?

Thanks for playing

What the frick does this have to do with Richt benching players for late hits?

You want me to dig up examples? I'll find them, but the crux of the whole conversation was favoritism at UGA. I'm sure it goes on to a degree just like anywhere in college football. But if you look at the Zack Mettenberger situation closely, your argument that somehow Richt is king of favoritism falls completely apart.

Enjoy

Again, I'm sorry. You obviously know more about the UGA program than I do.

Demetre Baker was an absolute stud linebacker and has been kicked off the team.

Mett has a good chance of starting at your school next year. If favoritism is so rampant, why not let Zach slide? Considering his mother works for the program as well.

Yes, you know UGA football like the back of your hand. Congratulations!

I'm sorry. LSU is as pure as the driven snow.

Forgive me.

I know you are an MSU fan, so you probably don't see the games were Richt pulls players for late hits routinely.

Every team plays favorites to a degree, if you don't think your team does it, you live in a parallel universe from the rest of us.

True, but he was held out of the opening game by Richt before the ruling.

I don't have to trust you. I have lived in GA for a long time have seen "The Georiga Way".

If you aren't a starter you might pay for getting in trouble if you're a starter then richt just tells you what you did wrong and suspeneds you aginast the likes of Furman (for a half).

Whew what a punishment.

Did you even pay attention to AJ Green's suspension last year?

Sexual battery is a minor infraction at LSU?

I agree. Auburn's season without Cam and Nick will be most interesting.

What? For not being mid pack of the SEC West the year after a NC? I agree.

However, reality might prove different.
