Yeah, I know you are taught to keep your head up when you make contact to protect your neck. Thing is he made contact first with his shoulder. There was nothing wrong with it. It was an effort play.

And I played safety also. Point is, when someone catches the ball, you try to knock the hell out of them. Separate them from the ball. Hurt them. Make them pay. They are the enemy when they catch the ball in your defensive backfield. I do not see how anyone can critisize him.

I think the main thing he did wrong was the launching. If he doesnt jump up in the air to make the tackle I doubt they call anything.

I agree. But you can make that type of hit legally. It happens all the time, and a flag is not thrown. When you launch yourself, head down, and hit with your head, it's illegal.

You keep saying that he hit with his shoulder first. That pic shows him hitting with his head first.

I wish he hit him a little harder to completely knock the ball loose. the ball slipped a little but it wasn't completely let go of his hand.

He almost put Brandon James and AJ Green in a Coma.
